Invite Team members and Allocate Components

At this stage, Agency Owners/ Project Managers can invite their Consultants to participate in the Job.

Independent Project Managers can also search for the most suited Freelancers for the Job, allocate Job Components to selected Freelancers, build a virtual team of these Freelancers, and then invite the Freelancers to participate in the Job.

If the Independent Project Manager has any Freelancers in his/ her Preferred Network that matches the Job, then the Project Manager can invite these Freelancers without doing an extensive search.

Analyze Job Requirements and Develop Estimates

Invited Freelancers have the option to accept or reject a Job invitation, or accept only a part of the Job invitation.

Invited Freelancers or Agency Consultants can then analyze the assigned Job components.

At this time, if the Freelancers/ Agency Consultants have any queries relating to the assigned Job components, they can raise these through the System. These queries will be channeled to the Customer team, who can respond with clarifications as needed.

After any queries are clarified, the Freelancers/ Agency Consultants can submit their Technical solutions, Effort estimates, and Cost estimates to the Project Manager.

Analyze and Estimate
Build & Submit Integrated Job Proposal

After receipt of Job Component Proposals from all invited Freelancers/ Agency Consultants, the Project Manager can consolidate all inputs received, and then add his/ her additional Technical solution elements, Effort estimates, and Cost estimates, and build an Integrated Job Proposal.

The Project Manager can then submit the Integrated Job Proposal to the Customer via GigsBoard.

Submit Proposal
Job Award & Contract Signatures

GigsBoard provides a Dashboard where the Customer team can view all received Job Proposals already sorted in the order of the Job Proposal Prioritization factors that the Customer had defined during Job definition.

The Customer can also refine the Job Proposal Prioritization factors at any time, and GigsBoard will sort the received Proposals in the new order of relative importance.

The Customer has the option of accepting the top-ranking Job Proposal as displayed by GigsBoard, or manually select their own choice.

After the Job Award, the Project Manager owns the responsibility of initiating Contracts.

  • In case of an Agency, there would only be one contract, that is, between the Agency Project Manager and the Customer.
  • In case of a virtual team with independent Project Manager and Freelancers, the Project Manager will need to initiate contracts with the Customer, as well as with the each of the Freelancers in the Job team.

This phase ends when all Contract parties have affixed their eSignatures to the Contract(s) initiated.
